The Suede Trainers Are Easy To Clean

The suede trainers are easy to take care of, durable and attractive. Often more runners and athletes hold the impression that these are less durable than leather shoes and refrain from purchasing them. The reason they stay away from them is that they believe them to be high-maintenance.

The above mentioned impressions do not apply to this type of leather today. It is equally as low-maintenance, durable and attractive as is leather. As a matter of fact, suede training-shoes could be a great choice to add to the sports-shoe wardrobe.

Dirt, dust and marks are easily removed with a short-bristled wire brush. These brushes are made especially for this reason. Light brushings between wearing removes dust and refreshes the shoe's attractive appearance.

A bath or hand towel will soak up any water from the nap of these trainers. Dabbing the shoe with a towel will effectively eliminate water-spots. Air drying in a warm place will help prevent mould, mildew and bad odors from growing in the material.

It is a little known fact that diluted vinegar removes stains - even the stubborn ones. Dried vinegar should be brushed off the shoe with a stiff, short-wired brush so as not to leave a mottled look. Dedicated sealants and protective sprays should be used as frequently as once a week to maintain the fresh look of the nap.

The suede trainers are no less attractive with use than are polished leather trainers and they are just as easy to care for. They are a good investment and certainly provide a change in look from the routine, and more popular leather ones.
